Honoring the Lives of Loved Ones Through Touchstones of History

Our lives are bookended by the year we begin our journey and the year we complete it here on earth. Throughout the time in between, we grow, we learn, we experience, we love, we pass in and out of each other’s lives, sometimes prominently, other times just as part of the background; just like coins do. They are born, minted in a certain year, and then begin their journey around the country, and sometimes around the world, passing in and out of people’s pockets, or pocket books, thousands if not hundreds of thousands of times. Just like us, they age, get worn and one day are retired from circulation. 

Honor Bells creates handmade, one-of-a-kind bells, made from coins, in honor of a loved one or special event. Originally designed to be given as Christmas ornaments in the theme of the Christmas classic, “It’s  A Wonderful Life”, bells can also be made and gifted for any occasion, or holiday, or even as a desk memento. 

Honor Bells prefers using circulated coins when possible to honor your loved one’s life. Just like all people, circulated coins are not perfect, but yet are still beautiful because they represent a well-traveled journey and have a character all their own.  Albeit a little worn, in the end, they polish up just as beautifully as a brand new coin.
